Our Continuous Learning Philosophy
Manulife is committed to providing employees with opportunities to continue to learn and grow in their careers. Our “Continuous Learning Philosophy” has been designed as a framework to build and strengthen Manulife as a continuous learning organization.
As such, managers in Manulife have the responsibility of creating a learning culture in which our employees find the necessary support to keep learning. At the same time, our employees are expected to take initiatives and dedicate time and effort to engage themselves in development activities.
Generally, we have three different kinds of development activities: * In-house training programs which focus on competency-based training activities to improve our knowledge, skills and competency. * Professional examinations and qualifications * Continuous Learning Assistance sponsored by Manulife (e.g. certificate/diploma/degree/master programs offered by recognized universities and professional associations)
