Leadership Development - Accelerated Development Program

Objectives

 1. To further develop high potential staff who have demonstrated high performance
  capability and capacity to become an all round person for the company’s future development.
 2. To facilitate placements in other countries or openings at Corporate Officer level. 


Nomination Criteria

High-potential staff with superior performance at the time of nomination and demonstrating clear potential to progress upward within a short period of time. They must also meet a certain level of competency, as specified


Development Methodologies

 1. On the job training
  - they have the opportunity to participate in company-wide projects and be exposed to different perspectives
 2. Developmental Job Rotation
  - they should participate in rotations outside the function or business unit for stretched development in the current role
- An agreed Developmental Road Map on job rotation or job expansion will be worked out, together with the staff and their supervisors, according to the developmental areas of the staff
 3. Classroom Training
  - they should attend classroom training according to the development needs identified. Pre - and post-training assignments will be incorporated to ensure skills application outside the classroom
 4. Exposure to Senior Management
 

- they will meet our senior management during informal gatherings specially arranged for the purpose
- Job Shadowing with Corporate Officer: an opportunity for them to understand different aspects of senior management tasks, challenges and to learn good management practices
